To be born as the seventh child to Mr. Enos and Mrs. Rosammal on May 5th,1970 in Kanyakumari District, India was God’s grace. "Before I formed thee i n the belly I knew thee, and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified t hee; I have appointed thee a prophet unto the nations".Jer 1:5. says God's word and indeed my birth was miraculous .For one and a half years since the day I was born my dear mother lay in a hospital bed in an unconscious state. According to the Holy Bible in John 10:10," The thief cometh not, but that he may steal, and kill, and destroy:
I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly".Our family was in dire poverty, financial crisis and peacelessness during which we held on to our Lord’s feet firmly. During 1972, we moved to Chennai to start life anew and God did bless us. My mother reminded me in 1986 about my dedication to our Lord's service. Not heeding to the Lord’s voice, I toiled in my brother's company from 1986-1990.A vision from the Lord drew me back to Him.
As the Lord had
foretold in John 4:35, "Say not yet, there are yet four months, and
then cometh the harvest? Behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes,
and look on the fields, that they are white already unto
harvest”.
This was a high calling for His service.South Asia Bible College in 1990 saw me being inducted as a student of B.Th.During the 4 year course duration,I involved myself inall the ministerial activities of the Faith Christian Assembly of God Church, in Bangalore.Aftergraduation in 1994, I had the opportunity to develop as a Minister along with Rev. D. Mohan, at New Life Assembly of God for a period of 5 Years.
The Lord's calling for me was to pastor a church and thereby a house church was started in Maduravoyal at our residence. Children who came for tuition were the first souls who were conquered for our Lord.
The rapid church
growth led to the purchase of a land in Golden George Nagar,
Mogappair during 2001 and the dedication of a well designed and
constructed church in 2005. Currently, in attendance are 750
believing families along with 120 care cells, 2 branch churches and
5 Associate ministers. Support is also lent to 2 North Indian
missionaries.
` Ministry is done among children, youth, and college students and in villages. Good news festivals and social upliftment programmes are also in the church's itinerary. The growth of the church in all these avenues has been possible solely by the grace of God.
